# Command reference

Browse HalloweenBot’s public Discord slash commands. Type a command in your Discord server to use it.

| Command | Description |

| `/bake` | Bake a spooky Halloween treat and optionally share it! |
| `/botinfo` | Show information about the bot. |
| `/bugreport` | Report a bug directly to the developers. |
| `/candyheist` | Try to steal Halloween points from another user! |
| `/changelog` | View the latest HalloweenBot changelog. |
| `/checkperms` | Check whether the bot has the permissions it needs here. |
| `/days` | How many days until Halloween. |
| `/ghost` | Ask the Halloween ghost a spooky question. |
| `/ghostbuster` | Hunt for a ghost hiding on a recent message! |
| `/help` | List every command grouped by category. |
| `/hours` | How many hours until Halloween. |
| `/inventory` | View your or another user's collected items and points. |
| `/leaderboard` | View the level XP or candy points leaderboard. |
| `/levels` | View the level system configuration. |
| `/minutes` | How many minutes until Halloween. |
| `/opencrate` | Open a spooky Halloween crate for a random reward! |
| `/ping` | Check the bot's gateway latency and shard. |
| `/play` | Play the Halloween Radio in your voice channel. |
| `/pumpkinpatch` | Visit the pumpkin patch and harvest a special pumpkin! |
| `/reportcountdownissue` | Report that the daily countdown is not working here. |
| `/reporteventissue` | Report that the Halloween event is not working here. |
| `/seconds` | How many seconds until Halloween. |
| `/seteventconfig` | View the Halloween event configuration. |
| `/setup` | View the Daily Countdown configuration. |
| `/sleeps` | How many sleeps until Halloween. |
| `/soundboard` | Play a spooky Halloween sound in your voice channel. |
| `/status` | Check the current status of HalloweenBot services. |
| `/story` | Summon the next paragraph of a spooky Halloween story. |
| `/support` | Create a support ticket with SeasonalBots. |
| `/total` | Full days, hours, minutes and seconds until Halloween. |
| `/trickortreat` | Knock on a door for a random treat... or a trick! |
| `/upgrade` | See HalloweenBot Premium and upgrade this server. |
| `/uptime` | Show how long the bot has been running. |
| `/vote` | Vote for Halloween Bot on supported Bot Lists |
| `/water` | Water your pumpkin in the Pumpkin Patch to help it grow! |
| `/weeks` | How many weeks until Halloween. |
| `/welcome` | View welcome and farewell settings. |

## Command options

- `/candyheist` — `target` (required): user to target
- `/inventory` — `user` (optional): player whose inventory to view
- `/bake` — `user` (optional): player to share with
- `/ghost` — `question` (required): your question
- `/support` — `message` (required): describe your issue
- `/leaderboard` — `type`: leaderboard category; `scope`: server or global
- `/bugreport` — `platform` and `description`: details of the issue
